How it works
From where you are now to a company that runs.
Fifteen stages in four phases, and three of them run at the same time. At four points nothing moves without you. This page walks through every stage: what happens, what you do, and what you have at the end of it.
01The journey
The whole path, on one line.
Solid markers are stages we run. Hollow markers are yours. Diamonds are milestones the evidence has to earn. The shaded band is where three things happen at once.
- UnderstandWhere you are starting from, what you want, and what the market supports.
- DecideWe propose the strongest version. You approve it, then commit.
- BuildAssembly, your actions and verification run together, not in sequence.
- OwnFinish what is left, take the keys, or keep parts of it running.
- 01Start pointYou tell us where you are starting from: an idea, a half-built setup, an existing business, or one you want operated.
- 02UnderstandWe learn your goals, constraints, service area and how you want to work. Answers are stored once.
- 03ResearchWe study the local market and, if you already trade, audit what you have and classify every system.
- 04ProposeA scope you can read: what to keep, improve, replace or add, what only you can do, and what it costs.
- 05ApproveNothing is built and nothing is charged until you approve the direction and the scope.
- 06PurchaseYou commit to the agreed scope. The Build Room opens on the same day.
- 07Build RoomOne place showing every lane, every module and who each remaining task belongs to.
- Runs in parallel
- 08AssemblyIdentity, website, customer systems, operations and launch presence are configured and connected.
- 09Your actionsSignatures, identity checks and regulated account openings, each prepared and explained. They start immediately, not at the end.
- 10VerificationChecks run continuously as each connection is made, rather than as a final pass.
- 11ReadyA real customer can move through your whole path: find you, ask, get a quote, book, and pay.
- 12Finish setupThe remaining administrative and operational work is completed and recorded, together.
- 13Fully SetEvery agreed customer-facing, operational, ownership and administrative item is complete and verified.
- 14HandoffAccounts, assets, documents, evidence and obligations transfer to you, in writing.
- 15Keys, or runRun it yourself, or have us keep operating agreed parts inside limits you set.
Assembly, your Founder Actions and verification all run at once. Each starts as soon as its dependencies allow, so waiting on a bank or a government office never stops the rest of the build.
02Your gates
Four moments where nothing moves without you.
Most of the build runs without you. That is the point. But there are four places where the system stops and waits, because the decision is yours by right or by law.
They are not interruptions. They are the reason you can trust what comes out the other side.
03Stage by stage
What happens, what you do, what you get.
Every stage, in order. The right-hand column is what you can hold us to at the end of each one.
Understand
Where you are starting from, what you want, and what the market supports.
- 01
Starting point
YouWhat happensYou say where you are starting from: only an idea, a half-finished setup, a business that already trades, or one you want operated for you. Everything after this branches on that answer.
What you doPick the one that sounds like you and describe the business in a sentence.
What you getA build opened in your name, already pointed at the right path.
- 02
Understand
SelfOperateWhat happensWe build a picture of you: skills, hours, service area, equipment, what you want in a year, and what you refuse to do. Every answer is stored once and reused everywhere it is allowed.
What you doA short conversation. Ten minutes, on your phone if you like.
What you getA founder profile you can read and correct. It steers every decision after this.
- 03
Research
SelfOperateWhat happensWe study your local market. If you already trade, we also inventory what you have and classify every system Keep, Improve, Replace or Missing.
What you doNothing. You can watch it land in the Build Room.
What you getA research brief with sources and competitors, and an audit of anything you already own.
Decide
We propose the strongest version. You approve it, then commit.
- 04
Recommendation
SelfOperateWhat happensWe propose the strongest version of your company: positioning, offer, brand direction, what to keep, what to change, and every Founder Action the build will need.
What you doRead it. Push back. Ask for a different angle.
What you getA scope with a price, including the honest weak points. Nothing is built from it yet.
- 05
Founder approval
YouWhat happensThe gate. The recommendation becomes the plan only when you approve it, and the plan is what the Build Room assembles.
What you doApprove the direction and the scope, or send it back with notes.
What you getAn approved scope with every Founder Action listed before any work starts.
- 06
Purchase
YouWhat happensYou commit to the agreed scope and the build begins. Until this point you have paid nothing.
What you doConfirm the scope and pay for the build.
What you getThe Build Room opens on the same day.
Build
Assembly, your actions and verification run together, not in sequence.
- 07
Build Room opens
SelfOperateWhat happensOne place showing six lanes, every module in them, and who each remaining task belongs to: us, you, or an outside provider.
What you doWatch it, and answer when a module needs a decision only you can make.
What you getA live view of the whole company being assembled, with nothing hidden.
- 08
Assembly
SelfOperateWhat happensIdentity, website, customer systems, operations and local presence are configured and connected. Foundation work is prepared up to the point where you or a provider must act.
What you doNothing, unless a decision is yours.
What you getModules moving from Proposed to Executed across every lane.
- 09
Founder Actions
YouWhat happensAnything only you can legally or practically do is prepared as far as it can be, explained in plain language, and opened for you. These start on day one, not at the end.
What you doSign, verify your identity, open the regulated account, accept the terms. A few minutes each.
What you getA short, dated list of what is yours, what we already prepared for each, and what each one unblocks.
- 10
Verification
SelfOperateWhat happensChecks run as each connection is made rather than as a final pass. A failed check is retried, stays in the log, and blocks whatever depends on it.
What you doNothing, unless a check fails and needs a decision from you.
What you getAn evidence log filling up in real time: every check, its result and a timestamp.
- 11
Ready
MilestoneWhat happensA real customer can move through your whole path. They find you, ask, get a response, book, pay where it applies, and both of you get the confirmation.
What you doStart taking customers if you want to. Many founders do, while the remaining work finishes.
What you getA business that works for a customer today, and a clear list of what is still open behind it.
Own
Finish what is left, take the keys, or keep parts of it running.
- 12
Finish setup
TogetherWhat happensThe remaining administrative and operational work is completed together: foundation steps, bookkeeping, documents, listings and anything the scope still has open.
What you doComplete the last Founder Actions. We keep everything else moving around them.
What you getEvery agreed item closed and recorded, with renewal dates noted.
- 13
Fully Set
MilestoneWhat happensEvery agreed customer-facing, operational, ownership and administrative item is complete and verified. Not every business needs every item; your approved scope decides.
What you doNothing. This one is earned by the evidence, not declared.
What you getA company with nothing left open, and an ownership record listing everything in it.
- 14
Handoff
YouWhat happensAccounts, assets, documents, evidence and remaining obligations transfer to you in writing, with every account already in your name.
What you doChoose: take the keys, or keep parts of the company running with Build and Run.
What you getA company registered to you, hosted for you, and not dependent on us.
- 15
Take the keys, or run it
Your choiceWhat happensIf you choose Build and Run, AI workers take on the recurring jobs you assign, inside permissions, budgets and approval rules you set.
What you doSet the limits. Approve what needs approving. Stop any time.
What you getA company that keeps working while you do the work, and stays yours if you stop.
04How long it takes
As fast as your decisions, and not faster.
We do not quote a number of days, because the honest answer depends on two things we do not control: how quickly you decide, and how quickly third parties verify you.
What we do control is that nothing waits on us for long, and that you can always see what is waiting on whom.
Describe the company you want.
One sentence is enough to start. We will come back with research, a recommendation, and a plan you can approve or change before anything is built.
