Deleting your data
How to take SelfOperate's access away from any account you connected, and how to have your data deleted.
Disconnect one account
This works the same for Facebook, Instagram, Google and every other account you connected.
- Sign in to SelfOperate and open Connected apps.
- Choose the account and select Disconnect.
SelfOperate revokes its access and withdraws the stored credentials for that account straight away. Nothing is deleted from the account itself (your posts, email or calendar stay where they are).
Remove SelfOperate from the provider’s side
You can also take access away from the provider directly, at any time:
- Facebook and Instagram: on Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find SelfOperate and select Remove.
- Google: go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose SelfOperate and select Remove access.
Once removed, SelfOperate can no longer read or post anything for that account.
Have your data deleted
Either of these starts it:
- In SelfOperate, open Settings and choose Close this company. Closing disconnects every account, stops all automation, and files an erasure request that our team completes. You don’t need to contact us.
- Or email privacy@selfoperate.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete your data.
The erasure removes your business records, customer records, website measurement and what we stored from connected accounts. Payment and tax records are kept because the law requires it. You can see where your request stands in Settings, and you can take an export first if you want a copy: deletion can’t be undone.
More detail is in our privacy policy.
